Stayed at this Travelodge while I had some work done on my house, very friendly lovely lady called Sue was very helpful and kind the room was spotless and nice and warm bathroom was gleaming would recommend this place to anyone .
Hotel on edge of town. Clean, comfortable rooms. Plenty of parking. Toby Carvery next door opens for breakfast.
Stayed in a dog friendly room a few times now. Staff are always very helpful and accommodating. Nice big rooms with space for an 2XL crate. Bathroom and beds always clean.
Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff made my stay here enjoyable. The good service definitely helped make the experience more pleasant.
Updated Jan 18th 2026, Still as clean, tidy and nice as it was a year ago. Always a smiling welcome by the ladies that tend to the reception, only let down was though this evening there were two youths smoking weed right outside the entrance at 12.15am when I returned, it stunk outside. Original review 2025: Plenty of FREE parking, always plenty of spaces, hotel seems to have been recently renovated or built as it has such a nice brand new clean smell to it, rooms are the same clean and tidy, very very reasonable rates if you book ahead, better than the nearest alternative... Say no more. My new regular stop over hotel.
